I feel that this technique is often hidden or unknown to many designers who use Illustrator, but it actually is super simple yet very useful indeed. There are of course many other ways to make patterns in Illustrator, but this probably is the most straight forward and easy to accomplish method, that is without installing any scripts or things like that. Showreel with some design works including graphic, motion, and 3D design. Photoshop tutorial on how to create a 3D text effect using the mixer brush tool. ✍️ As you will see, the process is quite complex as I used many effects like shadows, highlights, shines, bubbles etc. and lots of Photoshop tools in order to create the final result, from Mixer brush and pen tool to clipping masks and adjustment layers. I suggest to use a pen tablet like Wacom Intuos, because it really helps to create smoother lines and curves. I tried to include as much information as possible but still keep the video short, meaningful and interesting. Adobe Illustrator tutorial for realistic paper cut-out text effect. In this video, I used a simple technique to add a paper cutout effect similar to this previous tutorial on my channel ( 🤍 ) but not with text/lettering but an illusion design made with shapes created with the pen tool. In addition, the complete design was achieved with a drop shadow effect and by duplicating the layers for a shine illusion. Let me know in the comments if you need any additional information. Amazing 3D Text on Cinema 4D and Photoshop. Speed-art video of a custom 3D lettering design using Cinema 4D, the full version of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop on the iPad Pro with the sidecar feature. The process starts with the Procreate app on iPad Pro for creating a rough word and then transferred in Adobe Illustrator in order to create a path based on it. Then with the use of Cinema 4D the path turned into 3D object and in the end on Photoshop I added some details and played with the color. 3D text effect in Photoshop & Procreate | Living Coral Lettering Celebrating Pantone Color of the year 2019 "Living Coral" with this lettering design made with Procreate app and Adobe Photoshop. Pantone recently announced the color of the year for 2019 "PANTONE 16-1546 Living Coral". (🤍 This speed-art video shows the process of designing a 3D lettering in Adobe Photoshop and Procreate app in a tutorial style timelapse which is based on the living coral color. For this illustrated lettering work I used the Procreate app on the Ipad Pro to create the hand-lettering design for "Living Coral" using the "Readie brush"(link below). The background was made using a coral image which was edited in Photoshop. 3D text effect tutorial using the new version of Adobe Photoshop CC 2021. Based on a 3D lettering design I had created recently for a post on Instagram, I decided to create a new version using the same background and same technique but with some changes based on colors and mixer brush tool settings. As you will see, the process is quite complex as I used many effects like shadows, highlights, shines etc. and lots of Photoshop tools in order to create the final result, from Mixer brush and pen tool to clipping masks and adjustment layers. I suggest using a pen tablet like Wacom Intuos, because it really helps to create smoother lines and curves. 3D Text tutorial on Cinema 4D and Photoshop. The process starts with the Procreate app on iPad Pro for creating a rough design of 2 words. One word will be edited in Adobe Photoshop and one on Cinema 4D. In order to transfer the custom lettering design in Cinema 4D it needs to be saved as paths in Adobe Illustrator first. Then with the use of Cinema 4D the path turned into 3D object and in the end on Photoshop I added some details and played with colors as well as I edited the first word by adding manual shadows and details. In order to achieve a similar effect you need to know the Photoshop tools quite good. Photoshop tutorial on how to add shadows to type manually using the Pen tool. On this video, you can see the process on how to create shadows to text using the pen and brush tool. You can use either a ready font or a custom lettering design as a base, then make selections on the places you'd like to create the shadows and finally draw them using a smooth brush. In addition, you can see some extra stuff, like coloring the shadow to add a shade of the background color or whatever you think matches the design. Also, in order to decorate your text you can see how to add strokes/lines, using the pen tool as well. The video ends with some extra things like adding a radial gradient at the bottom, like a shadow of the whole letter, and using adjustment layers for better results. The adjustment layers I used, are the Color lookup, the Curves and the Brightness & Contrast layers whcih helps to improve the colors and the appearance of the design. The idea of this technique is to give the text more depth and details to look more realistic and interesting. For this kind of designs, I suggest using a pen tablet like Wacom Intuos, because it really helps to create smoother lines and curves. I tried to include as much information as possible but still keep the video short, meaningful and interesting. However in order to follow the process some advanced knowledge of photoshop is needed. iPad Pro lettering with Procreate app using Bellemond paperlike screen protector. Bellemond is nice smooth paper-textured screen protector in very good price compared to other similar products. It is made in Japan and I really liked the quality and the paper texture which seems to be exactly like a real paper. Using the apple pencil on it is totally like writing on a paper and it feels very natural.
